April 9, 1925 - June 28, 2009


Paul passed away at home after fighting an illness for the past year. He was predeceased by his loving wife Pela in 1983. He is survived by his three children: Ed (Shelley), Wes (Aline) and Henry as well as grandchildren, step grandchildren and great grandchildren. Paul resided and worked at the Cowichan Lumbermill in Youbou, B.C. Paul enjoyed early retirement, fishing, gardening and gambling. The last three years Paul lived in Courtenay, B.C. with his son Ed and wife Shelley. Paul’s big smile will be missed by his many friends and his family. We will always love you Dad and Grampa. The family would like to give a very special thank you to their Guardian Angel Majo for all the personal care and love she has given to our dad over the past two years and to Dr. Reggler and his staff, VIHA and many others for making his stay with us as comfortable as humanly possible. A “Celebration of His Life” will be held in Duncan on Saturday, July 4th, 2009 at the home of his son Wes and wife Aline from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. located at 6943 Mt. Prevost Road, Duncan.
