Patricia Ann Henry (nee Walling) was born July 23, 1938 in Essex, England and died July 19, 2010 in Duncan, BC.
She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of London and taught for three years at Shawnigan Lake Girls’ School and for one year at AW Neil in Port Alberni. Trish obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan and was in private practice in Duncan and Lake Cowichan until her retirement.
Thank you to Dr. Kerswell and office staff, Home Support, the nurses and staff at Cowichan District Hospital and Hospice. Also a special thank you to our friend Olga, who was with Trish in her hospital room.
Adhering to Trish’s request, there will be no service. Family and friends will miss her deeply. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in memory of Trish may be made to the International Fund for Animal Welfare, World Society for the Protection of Animals, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals or Greenpeace.
