August 15, 1962 – June 7, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce Mark’s sudden passing on June 7, 2021.
Mark was predeceased by his parents, Robert Turenne and Irene (Janssens), and his brother Arthur (Art) Turenne along with many aunts and uncles from the Turenne/Janssens families.
Mark leaves to mourn his sister Lori Iverson and brother-in-law Marvin of Langdon, AB; nephew Ryan Iverson (Kate) and family Gunnar, Kiera, Anika, Eoin of Calgary; sister-in-law Nora-Lynn Turenne of Winnipeg as well as many other relatives throughout Canada from the Turenne and Janssens families.
Mark was born in Winnipeg, MB on August 15th, 1962. He moved to BC as a young man and lived in the Kelowna, Lower Mainland/Vancouver area and then Vancouver Island after a short time in Alberta in 2009/10. Most recently Mark lived in Lake Cowichan, BC.
Mark was a talented musician and loved music and playing the guitar. As well, he was a talented artist who loved to draw and paint. Mark had a sharp sense of humour and an outgoing personality. He liked to help people and volunteer for different causes.
