Passed peacefully on Feb 9th in her 100th Year. The 7th of 11 siblings, Marie is survived by sisters Margaret in Windsor and Pauline in Surrey plus many nieces and nephews. A long time resident of Lake Cowichan, she dedicated her life to her Church, teaching and the town. Many residents will remember “Miss Penty” as their elementary school teacher. A Memorial Service will be held at First Memorial Funeral Services Fraser Heights Chapel, 14835 Fraser Hwy, Surrey, BC on April 15, 2017 at 1 pm.
