It is with great sadness that the family of Lachman Singh Johel announces his passing after a brief illness, on Tuesday, December 19, 2006, at the age of 82 years. Lachman was born to Santa Singh and Kartar Kaur Johel on December 14, 1924 in Jandiala, India. Lachman will be forever remembered by his wife of 67 years, Pritam and their children, Gurdial (Malkiat), Gurdave (Harjinder), Manjit (Jagpal), Sukhjindar, Sukhdave (Manjit), and Kuldeep (Indra). Lachman will also be fondly remembered by his seventeen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral Service was held at Sands Funeral Chapel, 187 Trunk Road, Duncan, BC on Saturday, December 23, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Cremation followed at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, Cedar, BC.
