It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and Grandmother Josephine, on September 23rd 2010 in Cowichan District Hospital, surrounded by her family.
Grandma Jo was born on June 23rd 1923, in Vancouver. She is predeceased by her husband Mike and infant daughter Jody. Jo was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by her five children: Vernon (Michele), Alan (Marg), Stephen, Julie (Dave) Lindsay, Tracy (Steve) Clements and daughter-in-law Debbie and son-in-law Howard. Also left to mourn are her grandchildren Annie (Ian), Sarah (Jerome), Kristen (Tim), Brandon (Mel), Chelsea, Brooke (Quentin), Kate (Trevor), Ryan, Elizabeth, Ian and her precious great grandchildren Hanna and Dylan.
Jo and Mike coached women’s fastball teams in Nanaimo for many years, winning numerous provincial titles. Her family will host a Celebration of Life on Saturday, October 2nd 2010 from 2 to 4 pm at St. Andrews Hall, 2475 Koksilah Road, Cowichan Station. Please confirm attendance at djlindsay@shaw.ca.
