Alan was born in Campbell River, BC and moved to Lake Cowichan at the age of 7, where he resided at the same residence for 48 years.
Predeceased by his parents Jack and Edie Coe and his half brother Glenn Miller.
Lovingly remembered by his brothers Mark of Duncan, John of Courtney, sister Dawn (Jimmy) and nephew Jimmy of Tampa, Florida.
Alan enjoyed playing baseball, hockey and golf growing up and was an avid Habs and Canuck fan. His career was in the logging industry for close to 36 years.
A celebration of life was held at the Lake Cowichan Sports Arena Curling Lounge on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 2:00p.m.
