Gran, Helen Frieda 1908-2003. Passed away very peacefully Feb.17, 2003 in her 96th year, at St.Joseph’s Hospital, Comox, B.C.Predeceased by brothers Fred, Carl, Ernest and Ray Lorenz and sisters Edna (Harry) Smith, Eunice Kealing, nephews Russell Smith and Glen Lorenz. Survived by nieces and nephews Pat (Doug) Smith, Nancy (Larry) Slogar, Randy Smith, Eileen, Sheila, Karen, Patti, Terry, Franz, Judy, Alice, and Olive Lorenz. Many great and great great nieces and nephews.
Aunty was a resident in Lake Cowichan for 30 some years where she worked for BC Telephone and later a bookkeeper at Gordon Stores for many years prior to moving to Merville, B.C.
Aunty enjoyed life to the fullest. Reading, crocheting, knitting, gardening and woodworking. Love you Aunty, your family.
