After a courageous battle with cancer Grace passed away in her home with her loved ones by her side. Grace moved to Gold River in May 2004, where she made many wonderful friends. She previously resided in Lake Cowichan where she had been a respected member of the community for many years.
Predeceased by her parents, Grace leaves to mourn her four daughters Camilla Worsley (Russell), Bonnie Berker (Manfred), Annette Hewitt (Ron) and Donna Gedlaman (Todd). Her seven grandchildren, Eric, Angela, Tabitha, Laura, Tiffany, Larissa and Tyler, and her seven great grandchildren, Mitchell, Thurston, Charles, Shelby, Josie, Jordan, and Jadrianna. Grace also leaves to mourn her six sisters and one brother Margaret, Joan, Jim, Elaine, Sonja, Rose and Eva.
Grace will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her as she gave and sacrificed so much for those she cared about throughout her short life. Her family offers their extreme heartfelt thanks to all the medical staff at the Gold River clinic and all the paramedics as they provided ongoing support to Grace and her daughters. Thank you to friends and neighbors who have generously helped and offered ongoing support to the family.
A celebration of Grace's life will be held at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Todd Gedlaman on Saturday, October 13th, from 1:00 to 4:00 at 358 Alder Crescent, Gold River, BC.
