August 7, 1947 – June 4, 2019
Geraldine Mildred Vertefeuille, of Osage, SK, died peacefully in her home June 4th, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was daughter of Peter and Daisy Fisher, born August 7, 1947. In 1967, she fell in love and married her best friend Raymond Vertefeuille.
A loving mother to Kim, Curtis, and Rhonda, she shared unconditional love to her grandchildren: Zoe, Gus, Ginger, Marley and Isabella. Before she retired, Geri was a bookkeeper for an orchid greenhouse in Langley, BC. As a homemaker, she provided a comforting and uplifting home environment for her family. Geri was a remarkable cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends, most especially over the holidays. For many years leading up to her passing she kept a vibrant home garden, she enjoyed taking walks in town, and kept in close touch with her surviving siblings: Adeline DeDecker, Diane Bodnaruk and Rick Fisher. Her humour and kindness are unforgettable to anyone who knew her. She has a big place in many people’s hearts.
