On January 2, 2007, Denis passed away peacefully with his family at his side. Denis will be deeply missed by his wife Darlene, daughter Daphne (Pete) St. Mary, daughter Deborah (Darren) Mogg; and grandchildren Miranda, Maxwell, and Jakob. Supporting Denis and the family were Joe (Barb) DeLeeuw, Lyn DeLeeuw from Kamloops, BC, and many friends. Denis will be missed by many of his former co-workers and all of his friends. A celebration of life for Denis will be held at Lake Cowichan United Church on January 13, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of your choice may be made if you wish.
