David Harold Komo was born September 06, 1934 and passed away at Cowichan District Hospital on June 26, 2011.

Dave is lovingly remembered by wife Bernice, brother William, sister Margaret, sons Rick, Terry and Mike (Sharron), daughter Susie (Jim) Lindsay, grandchildren Alyssa, Alex, Christopher, Erin, Amanda and Andrew, 2 great-grandchildren Ethan (3) and Salora (2 months).

As a teenager Harry was a river guide on Cowichan River and later owned and operated “Shell” Service Station in Lake Cowichan and was a heavy duty mechanic in Youbou, BC until he retired. Dave was a great carpenter, enjoyed hunting, fishing and taught all of his children. He spent many years camping, fishing and waterskiing with his family and friends on Cowichan Lake and volunteered many years as a Scout Master.

At Dave’s request there will be no service.
