David passed away peacefully in the presence of his family. He will be missed by his family, parents Helen and Harry Evans, brothers Donald (Lorrette), Ronald (Sandi), Ian (Claudine) sisters Joan (Dick), Fiona, his Aunt Sandra (Brian) and his nephews and nieces (William, Matthew, Michael, Megan, Nicole,Steven,Bryan and Robert). Larry, Bonnie and Jan were his extended family. David was predeceased by his father George F. Hamilton and has many Hamilton relatives. His circle of special people was wide and varied and he will be missed by them all. David was a vibrant person with a love for all things. He touched many lives and will always be remembered for his hugs and a smile that wouldn’t stop. He enjoyed his work with the Cowichan Valley Association for Community Living and his buddies there. David’s family wishes to thank the Cowichan Hospital staff for their kindness and efficiency. In lieu of flowers, gifts in memoriam of David may be made to CVACL if so desired.
