It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, daughter, sister, auntie and friend Cindy Lou Witt.
Cindy was born in Cumberland BC, November 27th 1959. She moved to Lake Cowichan with with her family in 1963.
Cindy was predeceased by her mother Grace Witt; grandparents Tom and Beat Watson and Laura Trehearne. Left to remember Cindy are her daughters Kristal (Dustin), Staci (Nick); Jason, her partner of 25 years; her father Lou Witt and sisters Lois (Geoff) and Janice; nieces and nephews Kevin, Christine, Scott, Kache, Clark, Anna, Parker; auntie Deed (Gus); cousins Rae (Glen), Marla (Bobby) and their families.
Cindy was an awesome basketball player back in her day and helped lead her team to many BC Championships. Cindy will always and forever be remembered for her kind heart, hard work, competitiveness, great cooking and of course her loving personality.
A Memorial service will be held Saturday, November 7 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lake Cowichan Curling Lounge with a reception to follow.
