Blanche passed away peacefully on November 25, 2009 at Cowichan District Hospital.
Beloved mother of Elphege Martel, Denis (Carol) Martel and Aline (Dave) Horton. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Leonard, Christopher, Telus, Daniel, Roseanne, Kristina and Kimberly; five great-grandchildren; brothers Clarence, Lawrence and Marcel; sister Theresa, nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Louis De Montfort Catholic Church, 60 Fern Road, Lake Cowichan, BC.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made as an expression of sympathy to “Variety” The Children’s Charity, 4300 Still Creek Drive, Burnaby, BC V5C 6C6.
Blanche will be deeply missed by her loving family.
