Bert Brown died peacefully in his sleep at Cowichan District Hospital. Bert chose his time to leave us, the way he chose to live his life - with determination, thought for others, and love for his family. Bert will be sadly missed by his wife of 59 years, Margot; his daughters Monica (Stait) Sivertson, and Donna; grandchildren, Derek, Monica, Matthew, and Alisha Sivertson, Skyelar and Katiera Brown. He was a tremendous presence in our lives and there will be a void, difficult to fill. A Funeral Service was held at Sands Funeral Chapel, 187 Trunk Road, Duncan, BC on Friday, June 2, 2006 at 1:00 p.m.
