Audrey Lockwood (née Rutherford) passed away February 25 at Cowichan District Hospital in Duncan, BC after a brief illness. Born in Vancouver to John Alexander Rutherford and Marjorie Gwendolyn Rutherford (Bentley). Audrey was predeceased by her husband Frank Lockwood; brother Bill Rutherford (lost in WWII); and sister Barbara Allen. Audrey’s memory lives on through her children Dean Lockwood (Patricia Kearney), Susan Farrell (Shaun), Brad Lockwood (Leslie), and Kim Simpson (Doug); grandchildren Amanda, Erin and Liam Farrell; Nikole and Brady Lockwood; April and Max McCulloch; Madison, Sedona, Mason and Ryan Simpson; and her great-granddaughter Emma Audrianna McCulloch-Jones. A celebration of life was held in New Westminster on Sunday, March 2, 2008 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Inn at the Quay, 900 Quayside Drive, New Westminster, BC.
