Allan passed away from this life on Friday, Dec.16, 2011 at Nanaimo General Hospital following a lengthy illness from kidney failure and it’s complications.

Allan Ray Clarke was born at Arborfield, Saskatchewan on February 4, 1957. Allan was educated at Arborfield Elbow, Watrous and Melfort, Saskatchewan. His working career began at a sawmill in Port Alberni, BC. He worked in the bush also doing various jobs in a variety of places on the island. He lived in Lake Cowichan, BC for over 30 years and had many friends there.

Allan was predeceased by his father Robert Clarke and two brothers; George Robert Clarke and Kenneth Bruce Clarke.

He is survived by: his mother, Elva Holmes and step-father, Bob Holmes of Creston, BC, one daughter, Chantelle of Victoria, step-brothers Bradley and Reeve Holmes of Salmon Arm, step-sister Gina Neal of Nanaimo and their families, several aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, also by

Namdar Khan and his family of Lake Cowichan, who Allan spent many years with including his final years.

We know now that you will no longer be suffering. You will be deeply missed by all who knew you for who you really were. You will never be forgotten and will always be in our hearts.

A Memorial Tea will be held in the Arbor Reception Centre, Sand’s Funeral Chapel, 187 Trunk Road,

Duncan, BC on January, 7, 2012 from 1:00 - 3:00p.m.
