Iris was a very caring and loving wife, mother and grandmother, always thinking of her family first. She will be sorely missed by all that had the privilege to know her. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation for the care mom received during these past weeks. We will always remember the love and hard work of Sandy and the girls at Nana’s Place, the compassion and professionalism of Dr. Froese, and the extra love and devotion of Mom’s guardian angel Joan Hieta (our rock). Please join the family in a celebration of Iris’s life at Cowichan Lake Seniors Centre, 55 Coronation St, Lake Cowichan, BC, on Sat. Jan. 28 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Iris’s memory can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis trust account at Island Savings Credit Union, 38 King George N. Lake Cowichan, BC.
