Winners of Colouring Contest get to tour Lake Cowichan Fire Department

Three students from Palsson won the Fire Prevention Week colouring contest and got to tour the Lake Cowichan Fire Department Oct. 14.

Kierra Sauntry, Emma Arkell, and Elyssa Sahulk from Palsson Elementary School won a colouring contest that was part of 2014 Fire Prevention Week. As winners, they got to tour the Lake Cowichan Fire Department on Oct. 14. Fireman Cory Robertson showed them the firefighting equipment in the hall before taking the three girls and their mothers for a ride in the fire truck.
