The day after the mother of Frazer Smith-George asked for the public’s assistance in locating him, police have reported the 15-year-old has been found.

On Thursday, Oct. 4, Nenette Smith said her son had been missing since Friday, Sept. 28.

She said Frazer had left home before, but for no more than two days at a time and he always called or reached out to her by phone or social media to let her know that he’s alright.

Smith had said she was very worried as Frazer had been missing a lot longer this time, and had not personally contacted her, although a young girl has contacted her cousin by Snapchat to inform the family that Frazer was okay.

“She didn’t say much more than that, and has not replied to our efforts to contact her again,” she said before he was confirmed found. “I hope he’s fine. but I haven’t seen or talked to him so I’m not taking this girl’s word that he’s okay.”

On Friday morning, police issued a press release saying the youth was located “and he is safe and sound.”
