Bidders had approximately 210 items to choose from on Saturday, May 5. The auction was held at the New Hope Community Church in Youbou and volunteers were serving up hot dogs, hamburgers, and coffee outside in the sunny weekend weather.
Jeff Abbott performed the role of auctioneer and kept the crowd entertained and bidding.
Not all items were sold, so the church plans to hold another auction sometime in the not too distant future.
The event was a fundraiser to help pay for repairs that need to be done to the church.
