Police seek information on suspicious looking man

Lake Cowichan RCMP would like to know more about a suspicious-looking man seen in the Marble Bay area at 3 p.m., Sunday, January 30.

Lake Cowichan RCMP would like to know more about a suspicious-looking man seen in the Marble Bay area at 3 p.m., Sunday, January 30.

“We don’t want to alarm the public, just learn more about this guy,” Lake Cowichan RCMP Cpl. Krista Hobday said.

The man is described to be in his twenties, approximately 5’8” tall, slender build, with short brown hair, whiskers, and a mole beside his right eye. He was wearing a greenish black nylon jacket with a collar, faded blue jeans, beige coloured hiking boots, and a black ball cap with a logo of some sort on the front. He had a general disheveled look about him.

Lake Cowichan RCMP is encouraging anyone with information that can lead to the identity of the man to call them at 749-6668, or anonymously through Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
