There will be free transit in the Cowichan Valley during election day on Oct. 15.
BC Transit has made deals with 26 communities in the province to provide the free transit on Saturday.
“Offering free transit helps make it easier for residents to get to the polls and cast their ballots,” a release from BC Transit said.
“Decisions to offer free transit are made by local government partners in each operate community.”
The free transit is for local service only and does not include the 44 Cowichan Valley route.
