Don’t forget to spring ahead this weekend.

You’ll want to switch your clocks ahead an hour when Daylight Saving Time begins at 2 a.m. on Sunday, March 13.

Daylight Saving Time is the practice of setting the clocks one hour ahead of standard time to take advantage of the natural daylight the spring and summer bring.

Clocks will fall back on Nov. 6.

A 2019 survey by B.C.’s government found many in favour of legislation that would allow the province to observe Daylight Saving Time permanently.

B.C. passed a resolution outlining its plan to abolish the practice but the move was been stopped due to the coronavirus pandemic, and there has been no new word on when a change might happen.
