Cowichan Tribes is offering a COVID-19 vaccination clinic on Wednesday and Thursday for the Indigenous community, including all First Nations, Inuit and Métis members and their households.
This is the last time that first doses of the vaccine will be available through Cowichan Tribes.
The walk-up and drive-in clinics run April 14 and 15 from noon to 7 p.m. at the Ts’ewulhtun Health Centre at 5768 Allenby Rd. in Duncan.
Any self-identified Indigenous individuals ages 18 and up can attend. Those ages 16 and 17 wishing to be vaccinated need to speak with a nurse at the clinic.
Bring your BC Service Card or Care Card and wear a mask. Do not attend if you are feeling unwell or are in self-isolation.
Indigenous individuals ages 18 and up who can’t attend but still wish to get a first dose can call 1-833-838-2323 or visit www.gov.bc.ca/getvaccinated to book an appointment at an Island Health clinic.
