Beware on bridges until the end of May.
Mainroad South Island Contracting is working on bridge sweeping and washing in the South Island service area Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. until May 31.
Mainroad South Island will use “the best management practices for bridge structure cleaning as agreed to by The Ministry of Water, Land and Air Protection and The Ministry of Transportation” during its operations.
Motorists are encouraged to slow down and watch for roadside workers.
