Rocky Wise is running for a seat on Lake Cowichan council.

Rocky moved to Lake Cowichan in 1951 and because of his interest in this community volunteered countless hours as a member of the Minor Hockey Association; Figure Skating Club; Minor Baseball Association; Chamber of Commerce; Lake Days Society; Recreation Commission; River Stewardship Committee, Kaatza Historical Society; Area Planning Committee; and the National Aboriginal Hockey Committee.

Rocky is an avid golfer, winning gold and silver medals this summer, at the provincial and national 55+ Games.
