Yeah! Get a jump on November and head down to the pub for 8 p.m., on Nov. 2 to celebrate David Gogo's release of his new album Yeah! This CD release party was rescheduled from last month due to Gogo sustaining a personal injury.
Gogo's new album, which was crafted alongside blues musicians Steve Marriner, Jimmy Bowskill and Gary Craig, soars to new heights among his storied discography, said a release for the event. Gogo said that for his latest album he decided to leave his comfort zone and headed to Ontario to The Ganaraska Recording Co., surrounded by powdery snow and vintage guitars.
“I have recorded many albums, worked with many talented people, and had a lot of fun, but this album is my favourite to date,” said Gogo. “I asked producer Steve Marriner to assemble a group of musicians for the project and he chose well. It’s difficult to soar like an eagle when you are messing around with turkeys and I always surround myself with the best talent possible. This group, comprised of Steve Marriner, Jimmy Bowskill and Gary Craig, was a pleasure to create with — top-notch performers and super cool to hang with.”
Tickets are $25 through eventbrite.
“We are super stoked to see David Gogo again after his big tour," said Berry.
