The Chemainus Art Group is holding a show and sale May 24 to 26.
The group, which has been around since 1969, is celebrating their 55 years in style with an opening reception on Friday, May 24 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
“We are a group of like minded artists located in and around the Chemainus area in North Cowichan, Vancouver Island. Our mission is to support our members on their artistic journeys.
“And to have fun along the way!” the group said on their website.
People can then view the works on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Saltair Community Centre (3850 South Oyster School Rd., off Chemainus Road in Saltair).
Works will include oil, acrylic, watercolour, mixed media and a large selection of art cards.
Admission is free.
