Berry Music Company is presenting a super entertainment lineup at the Osborne Bay Pub this September.

First up, on Friday, Sept. 6 at 7 p.m. is Mark Crissinger in a solo performance.

There’s no cover for this show, so c’mon out and enjoy Crissinger, a 2017 Maple Blues Award nominee.

Blending traditional themes, clever lyrics, and modern arrangements, he performs original new blues and roots music revealing his singer-songwriter soul and the blues in his heart.

To add to a great weekend, there’s The Groove Kitchen on Saturday, Sept. 7, starting at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $10 at door.

The Groove Kitchen is one of Victoria’s most popular funk-soul bands (with, just imagine it) a smidge of Latin tossed in for good measure.

The five-piece band of veteran musicians has played many Victoria clubs and high-profile events, including the Victoria International Jazz Festival, Blues Bash, Moss Street Paint-In, Dragon Boat Festival and Butchart Gardens.

Rounding a trio of shows, there’s the Gabriel Palatchi Trio, coming to the pub on Sunday, Sept. 8 in an afternoon event from 2-4 p.m.

To get in, you pay a $15 cover at door.

Palatchi is a world class artist. His music embodies a complex flavour of genres. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1982, Palatchi started his first piano lessons at the age of eight. He spent his formative years in Buenos Aires studying classical piano, and being mentored by some of the great maestros of blues, tango, jazz and Latin jazz.

Then, on Saturday, Sept. 14, starting at 9 p.m., there’s Deep Sea Gypsies.

Tickets are $15 in advance at EventBrite, $20 at door.

Born in a modern era with vintage dreams, the Deep Sea Gypsies offer a sound that is all their own.

With a combination of 60s psych blues rock and 70s southern rock mixed with elements of funk and soul, with influences such as Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Rory Gallagher, Muddy Waters, and Lynyrd Skynyrd, (whew!) roaring off the stage from these guys, you’ll want to hear them.

Canus Hot Jazz Band comes to Osborne Bay Pub on Sunday, Sept. 15 from 2-4 p.m.

Formed as a quartet in 1991, this highly respected group has performed in three countries: their home; Canada, the western and midwestern United States, and Mexico.

A second September feature show brings Daniel Wesley to the pub.

So, on Friday, Sept. 20, starting at 8 p.m., enjoy an intimate solo acoustic performance with a special guest.

Wesley’s music has always been a call to live life to the fullest. And on Beach Music, the West Coast singer/songwriter’s ninth full-length album, that call rings out more clearly than ever.

Tickets are $25 in advance at myshowpass.com, or $30 at door.
