There are just two Thursday Evenings in the Park left in the 39 Days of July Festival and if singer/songwriters are your thing it’s time to book your free tickets.

At 6 p.m. on July 21 is — you guessed it — a singer/songwriter by the name of Terry Boyle. Originally from Ireland, this musician plays folk music with Celtic influences and social commentary in a variety of styles, according to the 39 Days program. Following Boyle up, at 7 p.m. is — you guessed it again — singer/songwriter Jared, who puts a spin, perhaps quite literally, on his music this time around as he’ll be joined on stage by his tap-dancing buddy Jamie, who the program notes will “spice up the entertainment value.”

The following Thursday, July 28, the sweet, sweet sounds of the Ranters will fill the park at 6 p.m. If you are into folk/country/folk/country rock featuring guitar, mandolin, auto harp, stand up bass and harmonies, you will enjoy what Longevity John Faulkner calls “a very delicious dessert.”

What follows dessert better than a little Beatles?

At 7 p.m. Beatlemania unplugged takes over and, according to the program, it’s’ always a hit at the festival.
