The Kaatza Art group would like to thank everyone who attended their show on the May long weekend.

It was a pleasure to give something back to the community is the form of three large gift baskets. All three winners were surprised and happy as they “never win anything”. The golden basket was won by Ginny Saboe, the +2 (everything in pairs) was won by Sharon Klein and the surprise basket (a complete antique Chinese tea set) was won by Kathie Madsen.

The People’s Choice award was won by Vera Crane. Every artist exhibiting had some votes in this award. We thank everyone who took the time to decide on a favourite. We know it is a good show when people have a hard time deciding between the ones they wish they could take home.

This successful show will continue to happen annually here in Lake Cowichan. Contact Loretta Puckrin at loretta@puckrin.com if you want more information about the Kaatza Art Group (now in its 53rd year of operation).
