Celtic Rhythms and Summit score big with seasonal dance show

With two studios joining forces, the big Christmas dance eventing Dec. 2 was indeed an extravaganza.

Do you need a little Christmas?

A full house at the Cowichan Performing Arts Centre obviously felt it did and performers from Celtic Rhythm Dancers and Summit Dance delivered Saturday night, Dec. 2.

Their event, entitled Christmas and the Holiday Season was filled with seasonal music and lots of charm.

From the innocence of dancers making their first appearances on stage in such numbers as Little Snowflakes and I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas to the sly, come hither allure of the senior students in Baby, It’s Cold Outside and the spirituality of Believe, there was a lot to enjoy in a special evening out.
