The 74th annual Cowichan Music Festival is nearly wrapped for 2023, and organizers are now inviting everyone to see the top performers in a pair of galas March 5 and 6.
The festival boasted 735 performances by 1,589 participants aged three to 80-plus. It’s an opportunity for students of all ages studying music and dance to perform for their friends and families and receive adjudication by a group of professionals, said festival organizers in a press release.
There will be a Gala Concert with top performers at Duncan United Church on Sunday, March 5 at 2 p.m. Tickets are available at the door.
The Highlights Concert will be held at the Cowichan Performing Arts Centre on Monday, March 6 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets for that show can be purchased online at cowichanpac.ca and at the box office in the Cowichan Community Centre lobby.
Tickets are $18 for adults and $10 for children. “Audience members will enjoy piano, dance, voice, violin, cello and more,” organizers promise.
