The annual Heritage Days antique truck parade at Lake Cowichan attracted more trucks than last year, and a bright, sunny day at Saywell Park brought out lots of people to take a look.
They stayed, too, chatting, meeting old friends in town for the holiday weekend, and eating delicious barbecued burgers cooked by volunteers.
There was lots to see, including the Rankin family’s collection of restored logging trucks, some trucks from the Doman family, Richard Neva’s truck, several from Tuck Brothers, and Malloch’s restored beauty, plus some active trucks, and the Bonnell’s 1931 Ford.
