Cowichan 4-H Beef club

The Cowichan 4-H Beef club put together a small show for the members to get out and display their projects within the club and to immediate family members.

The event judge was Pam Friesen-Robinson who came from Abbotsford and has been part of the 4-H program as a member, parent and leader. Friesen-Robinson encouraged the members to continue to work with their animals throughout the summer even if they weren’t going to have the opportunity to go to any exhibitions or shows this year due to COVID-19. She provided excellent feedback to each member regarding areas in need of improvement and praised the kids on the effort put into their projects with the current COVID restrictions and the unlikely chance of many shows this year.

The members placing for the Beef show are as follows:

Grand Champion: Hailey Martin

Reserve: Victoria Kovacs

Junior Showman

Grand Champion: Paisley Kovacs

Reserve Showman: Jackson Phillips

Overall Showman

Grand: Hailey Martin

Overall Female
