Undaunted, Cowichan “UN”FAIR draws inspiration from pandemic

COVID-19, quarantine, Dr. Bonnie Henry behind new categories at Cowichan Exhibition

It wasn’t the Cowichan Exhibition we are used to, but they still pulled it off.

Undaunted by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Exhibition had to downsize things a little bit this year. Dubbed the “UN”FAIR, this year’s event drew inspiration from the pandemic, the resulting quarantine, and even provincial health officer Bonnie Henry.

The “pop-up” show on Sept. 6-7 was just the beginning. The “UN”FAIR-20’s Quilts in the Barn Show takes place Sept. 11-13. What’s more, a spectacular ‘drive in’ and Laser Light Show is being planned for Sept. 11-13 as well.
