Willow Street in Chemainus will once again be transformed into a festive winter night market for the Chemainus Sip & Shop on Nov. 16 as local shopping, food, drinks and entertainment will come together to create an exciting holiday experience for the community.
The Chemainus Business Improvement Association and the Chemainus & District Chamber of Commerce are bringing back the Chemainus Sip & Shop event after its successful debut last year. Taking place from 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., the Sip & Shop offers holiday shopping with a range of locally-made goods and crafts.
In addition to a diverse array of seasonal items and handcrafted goods, the Sip & Shop will feature special discounts from local businesses. Chemainus restaurants will also offer exclusive deals to complement the market's culinary experiences.

Live performances from The Doctors of Rock and Roll and other festive acts will entertain attendees throughout the night.
New this year, attendees aged 19 and over can enjoy beer, wine and spirits from TravelBar, the Vancouver Island mobile bartending service built out of a 1970s Travelaire camper trailer.
“Thanks to TravelBar, you can easily grab your preferred drink and leisurely stroll down Willow Street as you sip,” said Krystal Adams, executive director of the CBIA.
Whether you're hunting for the perfect gift or simply looking to soak up the holiday spirit, the Chemainus Sip & Shop promises an evening of festive local fun.
