The Rivernotes are giving two performances in February.

The Rivernotes choir, made up of singers from around the Cowichan Lake area, is offering music fans two chances to hear them perform.

The first is a dress rehearsal at 1 p.m. at the Lake Cowichan Over 50 Centre on Feb. 4.

“We’re inviting people to a dress rehearsal of our festival numbers. It’ll be a great chance for them to hear us, especially if they don’t want to drive down to Duncan,” said the group’s Judith Quinlan.

The choir will perform in a choral music evening during the Cowichan Music Festival at 7 p.m. at Duncan United Church on Feb. 6 at the corner of Jubilee and Ingram Streets in Duncan. “They can also come and check us out there,” she said.
