Another free night of Vancouver Island music will grace Lake Cowichan’s Central Park, Thursday, August 25.
The show will begin at 6 p.m. with an open stage, followed by co-headlining local musician Beverly McKeen at 7 p.m.
“Beverly and her band play what I would say is either country music with a folk influence or vice versa,” organizer David Lowther wrote, in an e-mail to the Gazette.
Gypsy jazz group The Pelta Tiller Duo will follow, with an 8 p.m. performance.
Admission is by donation, and a concession will be available.
