It was all about fun, last weekend, during the Valley Fish and Game Club’s annual Terry Oulton Memorial Trout Derby.
With clear skies for much of the weekend, 25 trout were caught. The top three finalists were;
• Gills Gaudrea, with a 3.25 pound trout.
• Larry Williams, with a 3.1 pounder.
• Wade Lowe, who also caught a 3.1 pound trout.
Larger trout were caught, but had to be thrown back due to their being over the 50 centimeter size limit.
