Families pack Duncan’s BC Forest Discovery Centre for Kids Days

Lots of activities to try during BC Day long weekend

Families filled the BC Forest Discovery Centre in Duncan over the BC Day long weekend for Kids Days.

In addition to riding the train, visitors could partake in a range of activities, including badminton and minigolf, and arts and crafts.

The concession was open, selling kid favourites like cotton candy and mini donuts.

Although it had to close for COVID-related reasons last year, the Forest Discovery Centre is back open this summer, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Monday to Thursday until Sept. 26. Plans for the Halloween Train in October and Christmas Express in December are in the works as well.
