As the yearly tradition continues, staff and police officers from the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP had the pleasure of touring retirement homes in the Cowichan Valley, spreading cheer through Christmas carols.

The officers were joined by the mayors of both North Cowichan and Duncan who were great additions to the RCMP choir. The carollers attended six retirement communities in the span of one morning last week.

“It gives us great pleasure to come into these homes and spend a few minutes with the residents,” says Const. Pam Bolton, spokesperson for the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP. “As you can see in the picture, resident Joy was very excited to join us while we sang.”
