Cerrer leads Duncan skaters at Island Regionals

Two first-place finishes among 21 Duncan Skating Club members

Hailey Cerrer of the Duncan Skating Club finished first in the Star 5 Girls 13 and Over category at the Vancouver Island Regional figure skating competition in Victoria on Feb. 1-3.

“Hailey had a wonderful skate,” said club head coach Lorraine Francisty, who took 21 skaters to the event.

Kiera Klymchuk also finished first in her category, Bronze Interpretive.
