We already have a neighbourhood watch

On Aug. 5 we had a 50th get together at our home.

Everyone was having a good time, when a stranger drove onto our property, got out of his car, walked across private property and harrassed a number of our guests.

I asked him to leave — he ignored me!

Other guests came up and told him to leave, as he was on private property and there was a special 50th. He wouldn’t leave.

I asked him who he was, as we have lived here a long time. He said he was a ex-public servant and somone had given him the old Trudeau salute. He accused a young girl sitting in a car of doing it. Didn’t happen.

He, as an ex-public servant, had no more rights on our property than any other stranger.

So neighbours, be warned! He owes an apology, for he broke up a lovely, once-in-a-lifetime, party.

Shame, shame.
