Political parties should pay for themselves
Political parties have evolved into clubs or gangs of individuals with a common interest — money, influence, power. Apparently it is “bad” that they have to self-fund. Apparently it is “good” to have taxpayers do it for them.
I say, if these folks want to have power, money, influence — pay for it themselves.
This is what we get from the “inspiring experiment” of the coalition. You mix the orange of the NDP with the green and you get brown.
I call of the higher purpose people of the world — those who want to get big money out of politics — to stop this misuse of the taxation authority. The tax credit on political donations is sufficient support for political gangs.
