Take back our flag
With Canada Day nearly upon us, I’d like to take a moment to encourage any Canadian, who has felt alienated or intimidated in recent months by the sight of our flag flown upside down and/or annotated with an expletive, to take back our flag and join the majority who will fly it with pride and respect on July 1.
It’s a simple truth, which bears repeating, that there is more which unites Canadians than divides them and our flag symbolizes that fact.
