How much will Housser really cost?
The provincial election is finally underway and the BC Liberal candidate is attempting a second try to become an MLA for the Cowichan Valley.
Before he gets too far into the campaign he should be clear on what his financial options will be.
If Premier Christy Clark can charge $1,500 each for someone just to meet her, what will Mr. Housser charge Cowichan Valley’s constituents if he becomes an MLA ?
Would he charge $10 a visit? What if he wants to top up his MLA’s salary, like Ms. Clark did to make up her extra government salary, would he add on an extra $5?
For those of us who can’t afford, “pay-for-view”, can we stand at his office door and talk to him at a “Dollar-a-Holler”?
BC Liberals have a knack of raising money for their party and while this may seem far-fetched, anything is possible.
