Faith in humanity restored with returned wallet

On the morning of the solar eclipse I lost my wallet in downtown Duncan.

Only those that have done such a dreadful thing can truly understand the panic and frustration which ensues. I did, of course, check everywhere for it, to no avail; notified the police and various banks, Visa etc. With the addtional threat of identity theft looming large in my mind, and after only one sleepless night, a phone call from teh RCMP was received the following day to advise that my wallet had been turned in intact. There was cash in it untouched.

My faith in my fellow human beings has been restored and I am particularly humbled by the fact that my hero was apparently a homeless lady. Her identity cannot be released to me for privacy reasons, so I cannot thank here in person, nor reward her honourable behaviour, but I wish to let her know that I am extremely grateful. I also want the community at large to know that there are trustworthy people walking among us.
